These are thicker than the original Kelloggs bars. The Kelloggs recipe uses 3 T. butter, 6 cups krispies, and about 40 marshmallows..(10 ounces).

9 crice krispies

1/4 cbutter, melted

75 lgmarshmallows
How To Make thick and chewy rice krispie bars

1In a large heavy bottom pan, melt butter and add marshmallows over low to medium heat.

2Stir constantly until completely melted.

3Remove from heat. Add rice krispies and stir until completely coated with marshmallows. At this point you may stir in chopped peanuts. I do.

4Spread into greased 9x13 pan. Cut and enjoy.
