Adapted from a recipe I was given by a friend. Can be made in regular 8X8" or brownie pan. Can be glazed or not.

Ingredients For strawberry chocolate chip blondies

  • 1/2 c
    diced strawberries
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • GLAZE
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    strawberry jam
  • 2 Tbsp
    water

How To Make strawberry chocolate chip blondies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Spray 8X8" baking pan with cooking spray.
  • 3
    Place the strawberries between paper towels and press firmly to reduce moisture. Set aside.

    In a large bowl combine butter and sugars. Cream together until well combined.

    Add egg and vanilla and mix until incorporated.

    Add baking powder and flour and stir to combine.
  • 7
    Fold in strawberries and chocolate chips.

    Spread into prepared pan.

    Bake 25 to 28 minutes until golden brown and set.

    Allow to cool completely.

    Make glaze by combining and stirring all ingredients.

    Spread over blondies. Allow glaze to harden.
