This recipe has been "doubled", so there is plenty to pipe on a decorative design. It also works very well if you are entering a cream pie into your local fair, as it holds it's shape for several days.

Ingredients For stabilized whipped cream topping

  • 2 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp
    heaping teaspoons softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    coconut extract

How To Make stabilized whipped cream topping

    In KitchenAid Mix, beat Cream Cheese and Heavy Cream on low speed until blended. Then beat on high speed until peaks form.

    Add Powdered Sugar and Vanilla and beat until soft to medium stiff peaks form.
  • 3
    Spread or pipe decorative designs with frosting tip, over pie.
