This was an invention based on a friend's request for both brownies and s'mores. It is very rich and gooey, but oh so yummy.

These brownies are a s'mores lover's dream! This is rich and gooey and has all the flavor of a s'more just in brownie form. Putting graham crackers on the bottom adds the flavor of the crackers. The warm gooey brownie in the center combines perfectly with the melted marshmallows. This super-rich and easy dessert reminds us of summer, bonfires, and camping.

Ingredients For s'mores brownies

  • 1 box
    brownie mix, plus the ingredients per the box
  • 1 1/2 c
    mini-marshmallows
  • 1/2 c
    crushed graham cracker
  • 1/4 c
    semi-sweet mini chocloate chips
  • chocolate syrup (garnish)
  • 1
    resealable bag (to crush graham crackers)

How To Make s'mores brownies

  • Crushing graham crackers with a rolling pin.

    Take a zipper bag and crush about 4-6 graham crackers really fine. This will be on the bottom of the brownies. Any left can be sprinkled on top as well.
  • Graham cracker crumbs poured into a baking dish.

    Put a layer of graham cracker crumbs down (about 1/2 cup).
  • Prepared brownie batter on top of the graham cracker crumbs.

    Fix brownie mix as suggested on the box. Then put the brownie mix in on top of the graham cracker.
  • Brownies baking per box instructions.

    Bake the brownies at the time and temperature on the box, but pull out the brownies about 2-3 minutes before they are done (where the toothpick does not completely come out clean).
  • Mini marshmallows sprinkled on top of brownies.

    Put the mini-marshmallows across the top of the pan until it is covered with a layer. Then pop them back into the oven for about 4-7 minutes or until the marshmallows have melted a little and turned brown.
  • Mini chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs sprinkled on top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

    Then sprinkle the mini chocolate chips on top. Garnish the top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and any leftover graham cracker crumbs.
