Ingredients For rum pudding bread

  • 6 c
    dried hard sourdough bread
  • 3 slice
    bread, sandwich white
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    rum
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 1 c
    pecans, halved
  • milk enough to cover mixture

How To Make rum pudding bread

    cut up dry bread and sandwich bread in large bowl and cover with milk let it soak for a few hours over over night
  • 2
    transfer bread mixture to a large pot and add eggs while mixture is still cold whisk into milk then turn on burner to medium. mash bread with bean masher until smooth
  • 3
    add all other ingriedinants and mix will then transfer to baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam bake at 380 in Bano maria. (place baking dish in larger pan filled with water) bake for about 1hour 15 min or until set.
