Ingredients For rose granita

1/2 cgranulated sugar

750 mlrose wine

1/2 tspfresh lemon juice
How To Make rose granita

1In a small saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups water and the sugar to a boil.

2Pour mixture into a 9 * 13 in. freezer proof baking dish, stir in wine and lemon juice, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hrs.

3Stir mixture, breaking up any chunks, recover and freeze at least 3 hrs. and up to 2 days.

4When ready to serve, scrape mixture with a fork to create soft mounds of icy snow. Serve immediately.
