I have made several Rhubarb tortes over the years but decided to try this one .It is good and very pretty

Ingredients For rhubarb torte

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    shortening
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 5 c
    diced rhubarb
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 sm
    red jello (strawberry)
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted

How To Make rhubarb torte

  • 1
    Mix together first six ingredients and pat in greased 9x13 inch pan.Put rhubarb over crust
  • 2
    Mix together next three ingredients and sprinkle over the rhubarb
  • 3
    mix last ingredients together and sprinkle over the top.

    Bake at 375 for 35 minutes
