I get together monthly with high school friends and one of them brings this each November for a dessert. It is very tasty!!

Ingredients For pumpkin crunch by earlene

  • 1 can
    pumpkin
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 can
    regular size evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1
    dry yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    chopped nuts
  • 2 stick
    butter or margarine

How To Make pumpkin crunch by earlene

  • 1
    Mix everything but the cake mix, nuts, and margarine together and pour into 9 x 13" sprayed pan. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the top of pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped nuts over cake mix; melt two sticks of butter or margarine and pour over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. YUMMO
