Ingredients For pumpkin crumble

  • 1 28oz can
    pumpkin (not pie filling)
  • 1 large can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 4 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 box
    jiffy yellow cake mix (one layer size)
  • 3/4 c
    melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped
  • INSTEAD OF 4 TSPS OF PUMPKIN PIE SPICE, YOU CAN USE 1/2 TSP GINGER, 1 TSP CINNAMON, 1/2 TSP NUTMEG, AND 1/2 TSP CLOVES. CAN ALSO USE MASHED SWEET POTATOES OR YAMS INSTEAD OF PUMPKIN.

How To Make pumpkin crumble

  • 1
    Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl, mix well. Pour into a buttered 13x9 pan.

    Mix dry cake mix and melted butter. Sprinkle on top of pumpkin mixture.

    Top with chopped pecans.

    Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until set.

    Serve with whipped cream or cool whip.
