Ingredients For poppy seed lemon scones

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    poppy seeds
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    lemon zest, grated
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • ICING
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 4-1/2 tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make poppy seed lemon scones

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Mix all ingredients. Form a circle, cut into 18 pieces.

    Bake on parchment lined sheets for 20 minutes.
