This really is a delicious and fun treat, southern style! My adult sons love it!! This recipe was in a church cookbook years and years ago. If prepared sparingly, for holidays and the like, it is fun and sweet (and hopefully won't clog too many ateries).

Ingredients For pig candy

  • 1 lb
    pork bacon thick sliced
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed

How To Make pig candy

  • 1
    Place bacon on cookie sheet, slices side by side.

    With small spoon, top bacon with brown sugar covering all bacon.

    Bake at 300 till bacon is crispy.

    Remove from pan and cool.

    Viola, Pig Candy!
