This really is a delicious and fun treat, southern style! My adult sons love it!! This recipe was in a church cookbook years and years ago. If prepared sparingly, for holidays and the like, it is fun and sweet (and hopefully won't clog too many ateries).

Ingredients For pig candy

1 lbpork bacon thick sliced

1 cbrown sugar, lightly packed
How To Make pig candy

1Place bacon on cookie sheet, slices side by side.

2With small spoon, top bacon with brown sugar covering all bacon.

3Bake at 300 till bacon is crispy.

4Remove from pan and cool.
