This cheesecake is frozen (no baking) and tastes like peppermint ice cream. I've been making this every Christmas for years. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family.

Ingredients For peppermint cheesecake

  • 1 1/2 c
    crushed oreo cookies
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese (8 ozs. each)
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk (14 ozs.)
  • 1 c
    crushed peppermint candy
  • 1/2 c
    mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pt
    heavy cream

How To Make peppermint cheesecake

  • 1
    Combine crushed cookies, melted butter and sugar. Press into 9-inch springform pan or 9" x 13" baking pan. Set aside.

    Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add condensed milk gradually. Stir in candy and chocolate chips.

    Beat cream until stiff. Fold into batter. Pour over cookie crust. Cover and freeze.

    To serve let stand for a few minutes. Remove sides of springform pan. Garnish with additional crushed peppermint if desired.
