My sister presented me with a cookbook from a little farming community close to where we grew up, and this recipe has been one of my family's favorites.

Ingredients For peaches & cream

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 pkg
    vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    peach juice
  • 1
    small can sliced peaches

How To Make peaches & cream

    Preheat oven to 350 Combine the first 7 ingredients,and beat 1 minute.Pour into a 9 inch square pan,oiled sprayed or greased.Drain and reserve the juice of peaches. place drained peaches on top.

    Next combine the cream cheese,4 tbsp. peach juice & 1/2 sugar,beat and spoon on peaches,leaving 1/2 inch from sides.Mix together 1 tablespoon,sugar,1/2 teaspoon cinnamon & sprinkle on top. Bake@ 350 for 30 minutes.
