For those who don't consume alcohol. I got you covered. For every tablespoon of dark rum required in a recipe you can substitute 1/2 tablespoons (1 ½ teaspoons) of rum extract. ...That means you would substitute 4 tablespoons of rum extract to equal the flavor. This recipe is the opposite of my "Naughty Elf Rum Balls".

Ingredients For nice elf coconut rum balls

  • 1 (12 oz) pkg
    vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 1/3 c
    coconut, flaked
  • 1 c
    finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 (14 oz) can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 c
    rum
  • 1/8 c
    confectioners' sugar

How To Make nice elf coconut rum balls

    In a large bowl combine crumbs, coconut and nuts. Add sweetened condensed milk and rum; mix well.

    Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Store in covered container in fridge for 24 hours.
