Another delicious recipe from one of our United Way Cook-Offs at work. This was a winner for sure!

Ingredients For macaroon salad

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    coconut
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    oatmeal
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted

How To Make macaroon salad

  • 1
    Mix all dry ingredients. Add in egg, vanilla, and butter. Spread mixture in a well greased and floured 9 x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. (Macaroon will harden); cool completely. Break into pieces.

    1 large container Cool Whip, 3 bananas, 1/2 c. chopped pecans. Layer in a glass bowl -- Cool Whip, bananas, macaroon, pecans, ending with Cool Whip. Reserve a little bit of macaroon and pecans for the top. This is decadent!!!
