This recipe came from my Grandmother & it's been passed down for 3 generations now. Wonderful summer dessert, but so good anytime of the year !

Ingredients For layered delight

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 c
    powered sugar
  • 1 lg
    cream cheese ( 8 oz )
  • 1 lg
    carton cool whip, thawed
  • 2 pkg
    (small ) chocolate fudge instant pudding mixes
  • 3 c
    milk

How To Make layered delight

  • 1
    Mix first 3 ingredients; press into 9x13" pan. Bake 30 minute at 350 degree oven.

    Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar & 1/2 carton Cool Whip. Spread this layer over cooled crust.

    Mix pudding with 3 cups milk, mixing well. Pour this over cream cheese layer.
  • 4
    Top with remaining Cool Whip & refrigerate overnight. Before serving, sprinkle grated chocolate on top.
