Ingredients For honey pecan triangles
-
2 tspplus 1/2 cup butter, softened and divided
-
1/2 cbrown sugar, packed
-
1egg yolk
-
1 1/2 call purpose flour
- TOPPING
-
1 cbrown sugar, packed
-
1/2 cbutter
-
1/4 choney
-
1/2 cwhipping cream
-
4 cpecans, chopped
How To Make honey pecan triangles
-
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
-
2Line a 13 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan with foil
-
3Butter the foil with 2 teaspoons butter
-
4In a mixing bowl - cream remaining 1/2 cup butter with brown sugar
-
5Add egg yolk
-
6Mix well
-
7Gradually add flour
-
8Press into prepared pan
-
9Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until golden brown
-
10Meanwhile, in a saucepan - combine brown sugar, butter and honey
-
11Bring to a boil over medium heat
-
12Cook and stir for 3 minutes
-
13Remnove from the heat
-
14Stir in cream and pecans
-
15Pour over crust
-
16Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly

17Cool completely on a wire rack

18Use foil to lift bars out of the pan and place on a cutting board

19Carefully remove foil
-
20Cut into 24 bars
