Ingredients For hiker bars

1/2 cpeanut butter, chunky

1 csalted peanuts, chopped

6 ozchocolate chips

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking soda

4 crice and wheat cereal, crushed

1.33 cwhite flour
-
2/3 cwhole wheat flour

1/4 tspginger
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
4eggs
-
2 tspvanilla
-
1 csugar
-
1/2 cmolasses
-
2medium bananas, mashed
-
1/3 cbutter
-
8 ozdates, chopped
How To Make hiker bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Then by hand: In a large bowl cream together peanut butter and butter.

3Mix in bananas, molasses, sugar and vanilla.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.

5Stir in the cereal and sift together dry ingredients and mix into batter.

6Add chips, peanuts and dates.

7Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.

8Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes.

9Cut into bars.
