Ingredients For gulab jamun recipe

200 gkhoya(evaporated milk)

40 gall purpose flour
-
1/3 tspbaking powder
-
1/3 tspnutmeg powder
-
20 gmawa( paneer)
-
500 gsugar

3 tsprose water

oil for frying
How To Make gulab jamun recipe

1Mix sugar with 500 ml water in a deep vessel pan and boil on medium heat flame to make sugar syrup. Stir continuously till the sugar dissolves.

2When the sugar syrup thicken to light sticky remove and mix with rose water.

3Grate the evaporated milk and mix with flour, nutmeg powder, baking powder. Make a soft palpable dough.

4Now divide the dough into small equal size parts and roll in between the palm of hand to make a round shaped ball.

5Repeat with the remaining and make balls.

6Heat oil or ghee in a pan on low flame heat. When the oil become hot and fry the balls till crisp golden for about 8 - 10 minutes.

7Drain and soaked in sugar syrup for 2 - 3 hours.

8Serve topping with some nuts.
