Ingredients For frosted delights

  • 1 1/2 c
    sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 2
    eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    brown sugar sifted
  • 1
    egg white stiffly beaten

How To Make frosted delights

  • 1
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cream shortening and white sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and sifted ingredients, mix well. Spread batter very thin on baking sheet.

    Fold brown sugar into beaten egg white. Spread over cookie batter. Bake in a slow oven (325 degrees) for approximately 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares
