Ingredients For dessert ball

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1/2 cbutter, softened

1/4 tspvanilla

3/4 cpowdered sugar

2 Tbspbrown sugar

3/4 cmini semi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cpecans, finely chopped (optional)
How To Make dessert ball

1Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars and beat until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts, if using them).

2Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

3Place onto a large piece of wax paper and shape into a ball, then refrigerate for 1 hour more.

4Serve with graham cracker sticks, Oreo sticks, strawberries ... the possibilities are endless. *IMPORTANT* - If you want to form it into a ball, you must use real butter. If you would rather use margarine, you can, but it will not form a ball shape no matter how long it stays in the fridge. In that case, you can put it into a bowl and just dip into it with your cookies or fruit. Same taste, just different presentation.
