Aunt Margie sent me this recipe that mom gave to her...mom used it mostly on carrot cake. I have added a little milk as needed because sometimes it takes a little to make more easily spreadable. I also like it on pumpkin cake and cinnamon rolls (when I don't use Angela's Icing, also in JAP).

Ingredients For cream cheese frosting, megan's/mom's/grandma w's

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 lb
    powdered sugar
  • 2
    good dashes vanilla (mom used 2 teaspoons vanilla, i prefer more)
  • milk as needed (mom never added the milk)

    Cream butter and cheese, add sugar and vanilla, and enough milk to texture desired.
