From an old Betty Crocker Book, been using this recipe for 30 years. In the book it is listed under quick breads. I use a little bit more orange rind. you can omit the walnuts. I double the recipe and doubled makes 2 loafs. Enjoy

Ingredients For cranberry orange bread (with chopped walnuts)

2 call purpose flour

3/4 csugar

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspbaking soda

1egg beaten

1 tspgrated orange peal ( i use navel, & use more than calls for)

3/4 corange juice, i use juice from the orange & add tropacana orange juice to make up the rest needed)

2 Tbspveggie. oil

1 cchopped cranberries (i use a little bit more, like a heaping cup)

1/2 ccup chopped walnuts (optional)

1350 oven, Grease loaf pan. ( I use Crisco) no need to flour the pan

2In medium bowl Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt

3In medium bowl Combine egg, grated orange peel,orange juice, and veggie oil.

4Add step 3's ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

5Fold in cranberries and walnuts.

6Put batter in loaf pan 9x5x3 inch bake in 350 oven for about 60 minutes or until done. Remove from pan; cool. Wrap; store overnight. I double the batch and freeze 1 for the holidays
