On a search for something with cranberries and apples, both of which I love, I found this recipe in 2002 on Granny's Coupons website. I looked for it again just before posting this, but can't find it.

Ingredients For cranberry apple cobbler

5 csliced, peeled tart apples

1 1/4 csugar

1 ccranberries

3 lbtapioca

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1 cwater

2 Tbspunsalted butter
- TOPPING

3/4 cflour

2 Tbspsugar

1 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 cunsalted butter

3 Tbspmilk
How To Make cranberry apple cobbler

1Mix the apples, 1 1/4 C sugar, cranberries, tapioca, cinnamon and water in a large saucepan. Let stand 5 minutes. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil. Pour into a 2 quart (8 cups) baking dish. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.

2Mix flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until the mixture resembles cornmeal. Stir in the milk until a soft dough forms. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto the hot apple mixture.

3Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees F until the topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
