Ingredients For caramel dumplings

  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    cold water
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • MIXTURE
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder, heaping
  • 1 c
    flour
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make caramel dumplings

  • 1
    In 8x8 pan, heat first three ingredients together until butter melts.
  • 2
    Combine mixture ingredients and drop in spoon size amounts into the hot butter mix.

    Bake 20 minutes @ 350 degrees. Serve warm with whipped cream.

    (You can double the recipe and use a 9x13 pan.)
