Mom had a different recipe than the traditional family recipe, this one takes much less time to make!

3rounds ricotta cheese

2 1/2 cpowdered sugar

1/4 csemisweet chocolate chips

2 Tbspchopped citron

10candied cherries, finely chopped

1/2 tspcinnamon

1 pkgpistachio nuts, chopped
How To Make cannoli filling, mom's

1In large bowl with portable mixer, beat cheese 1 min. Add powdered sugar and beat light and creamy. Add chocolate, citron, cherries and cinnamon and beat on low speed until well blended. Refrigerate, covered, until well chilled. Just before serving, with teaspoon or small spatula, fill shells with filling. Garnish ends with nuts and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
