Ingredients For butterscotch blondies

  • 1 c
    whole wheat-pastry flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    butterscotch morsels
  • 2 Tbsp
    half and half
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • cooking spray

How To Make butterscotch blondies

  • 1
    preheat oven to 350 degrees.Weigh or lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl; stir with a whisk until thoroughly combined.

    Combine butterscotch morsels and half an half in a medium microwave safe bowl; microwave on high for 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds. stir until smooth. Add brown sugar, canola oil, butter, vanilla, and eggs, beat with a mixer on high 2 minutes. Add flour mixture to butterscotch mixture, stirring just until combined. stir in chocolate chips.

    pour batter into a 8-inch square metle baking pan coated with cooking spray. bake for 40 min or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out with clinging. cool in pan . serve
