brownie mix-black bean brownies

These brownies are quite moist and so delicious! Some of the brownies I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter, and some I cut into squares.

Ingredients For brownie mix-black bean brownies

  • 1 (15-oz.) can
    black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    brownie mix (i used 18.4 oz.) box pillsbury fudge brownie mix)
  • 1 c
    dark chocolate chips

How To Make brownie mix-black bean brownies

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Set pan aside.

    In a blender, blend together, the black beans and water until smooth. Then pour into a bowl.

    Stir brownie mix into black bean mixture until batter is smooth.

    Now fold in a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. (I used dark chocolate chips.)

    Pour batter into prepared baking pan, then sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over the batter.

    Place pan in oven and bake for 25 to 27 minutes. (I inserted a wooden toothpick in center of baking pan to see if brownies were done baking.) Mine were done after 27 minutes.
