Ingredients For bea's key lime bars

1 1/4 call purpose flour

30vanilla wafers cookies, broken in pieces

1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1/2 cpecans, in pieces

3/4 ccold butter, cubed
- CREAM CHEESE LAYER

1 pkg8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4 csugar

2 Tbsp2% milk

1 tspvanilla extract
- KEY LIME LAYER

1 1/2 csugar

1/4 call purpose flour
-
1 1/4eggs

1/2 ckey lime juice
-
1/2 tspconfectioners' sugar
How To Make bea's key lime bars

1In a food processor, combine flour, wafers, sugar and pecans; cover and process until pecans are fine texture. Add the butter and then cover and pulse until crumbly.

2Press into an ungreased 13-inch by 9 in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 min or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.

3In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla until blended; spread over crust to edges of pan. In another small bowl, combine sugar and flour; whisk in eggs and lime juice. Gently pour over cream cheese layer.

4Bake for 20-25 min. or until filling is set. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled. Cut into bars. Before serving, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
