apple johnny

This is a recipe that I've looked for for many years. My bese friends Mom made it when I was small. I looked for something like it but never found it. Today my friend found it in a box on a shelf. It is so good it rivals apple pie. This is posted in the same way it was written 1934, I find it interesting. I would guess the amount of milk would be about one cup.
