A friend and co-worker gave me this recipe many years ago and I would like to share it with all of you. It is so easy to make and always enjoyed after a good meal.

Ingredients For apple dumplings

  • 2
    granny smith apples
  • 1 can
    crescent rolls
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 stick
    butter, unsalted
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make apple dumplings

  • 1
    Cut unpeeled cored apples into quarters - you will have 8 quarters.

    Wrap each apple quarter with a crescent roll.

    Please all 8 quarters into an 8-1/2 x 11 ovenproof glass dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Combine the orange juice, butter and sugar in saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted. Spoon over wrapped apples.

    Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
