Accidental. . . We've got a favorite dessert recipe that serves a lot of different purposes. Including my birthday treat for work. But, bless him, the hubs was helping me out by making them and made his most typical mistake - he didn't read the directions, threw it all together, forgot ingredients. . . you get the idea. And, while we did remake the recipe for work (the original is pretty), we also scarfed this down at home as a new and amazing dessert!

Ingredients For accidental lemon blondie

  • 1 pkg
    lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 14 oz
    can sweetened condensed milk

How To Make accidental lemon blondie

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2
    Stir together all the ingredients. Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of an 7" x 11" baking pan.

    Bake for 23 - 27 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars and serve.
