This is a really tasty recipe that I got from the Taste of Home magazine. I broiled the pineapple and it was good but seem to take quite awhile. I look forward to trying this again but on the grill.

Ingredients For grilled pineapple butterscotch sundaes

2fresh pineapples

6 Tbspbutter

1/2 cbutter

2 Tbspsugar

1/4 tspground nutmeg

1 cpacked brown sugar

1/2 cheavy whipping cream

1/2 tspvanilla extract
-
dash salt
-
3 cvanilla ice cream
How To Make grilled pineapple butterscotch sundaes

1Peel, core and cut each pineapple into 6 spears.

2In a small saucepan, melt 6 Tbsp butter with sugar and nutmeg. Brush over pineapple.

3Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from the heat for 7-10 minutes or until lightly browned, turning occasionally.

4For sauce, in a small saucepan, melt remaining butter. Stir in brown sugar and cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Serve sauce with ice cream and grilled pineapple
