Ingredients For easy cinnamon ice cream

  • 3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    cream
  • 1 stick
    large, cinnamon
  • 1
    3 " strip lemon,
  • 6 md
    egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • pinch
    sea salt
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract,

How To Make easy cinnamon ice cream

    In a pot add 2 cups of milk, cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Simmer gently, then remove from heat, and set aside until required.

    In a small bowl add the egg yolks and gently beat. Slowly add in the remaining milk, cream, sugar and salt, mix well.

    Add the egg mixture in the bowl to the pot of scented milk. Heat on low and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Do not allow to BOIL.

    Take the mixture off the heat and remove and discard the cinnamon and lemon rind. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.

    Allow the ice cream mixture to cool. Pour the cooled ice cream mixture into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
