My son wanted this instead of cake and ice cream for his Birthday. Boy oh boy... that was a good choice!

Ingredients For cookie ice cream sundaes

  • 2 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 jar
    (9.5 oz.) hot fudge sauce
  • whipped cream
  • french vanilla ice cream
  • maraschino cherries, chopped nuts, sprinkles etc. (optional)

How To Make cookie ice cream sundaes

    Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

    Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture and stir in chocolate chips.

    Press cookie dough into greased 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool slightly and cut into squares. Place cookie square on a dessert plate and top with 1 scoop of French vanilla ice cream, drizzle with hot fudge. Spray with canned whipped cream and garnish with nuts, cherries, etc. if desired.
