I am not sure where the name or the recipe came from, but it is delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients For connecticut pie

1 1/4 cvanilla wafers, crushed

1 Tbspsugar
-
1 1/2 tsplemon rind
-
1 stickmelted butter
- PIE FILLING

1 can1 lb. 14 oz can fruit cocktail, drained.

1 ptsour cream
-
whipped cream with nutmeg
How To Make connecticut pie

1Mix crust ingredients together and press into a 9" pie dish.

2Mix the fruit cocktail and the sour cream together and place in pie shell. Bake 350 for 20 minutes. Chill.

3When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and nutmeg
