Ingredients For chocolate peanut butter ice cream

1 1/2 c35% heavy cream

1/2 cmilk (1 or 2% works fine)

1/2 cgranulated sugar

2 Tbspgood quality cocoa powder

1 pinchground himalayan sea salt

3/4 csmooth peanut butter

1/8 tsppure vanilla extract

1 ozgood quality bittersweet chocolate, finely shaved

1/4 cpecans or walnuts, finely chopped
How To Make chocolate peanut butter ice cream

1In a medium saucepan over medium high-heat, combine cream, milk, sugar cocoa powder and salt. Whisk mixture until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and whisk in peanut butter until well combined. Add vanilla extract. Transfer to the refrigerator until completely chilled.

2When chilled, freeze the mixture according to the manufacturer’s instruction. 5 minutes after churning, add chocolate. Add walnuts at the end.
