When you have a sweat tooth for some ice-cream this is so fast to make and tastes great. This makes 1 1/2 quarts.No machine required.

Ingredients For chocolate chip quick ice cream

1/2 cplus 2 tablespoons ;firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cbutter
-
3eggs
-
2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspsalt

2 cheavy cream
-
1 cchocolate chips, mini ;can also use regular

1 cchopped walnuts(optional)
How To Make chocolate chip quick ice cream

1In saucepan combine brown sugar and butter and bring to a boil over low heat,stirring occationally for one minute.Remove from heat.

2In a blender combine eggs,vanilla and salt;cover and blend at medium speed for 30 seconds.

3Gradually add brown sugar mixture and blend at high speed for one minute.Cool to room temperature.

4Beat heavy cream until stiff in a seperate bowl.Fold in butter sugar mixture.

5Fold in chocolate chips and nuts(if using).

6Pour into foil lined 9x5x3 loaf pan and cover with foil.

7Freeze until firm ; several hours or overnight. You can put into frezer container the leftover icecream.Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
