I just got a new ice cream freezer then I found out from Just a Pinch there was an attachment for my Kitchenaid so as you can image I rushed right out and got one. Yea! I love it! I loved my Demi Ice Cream Freezer also I got at Target, but this one is a little bigger which is very cool. I have tried a lot of recipes lately for ice cream and this one is the families favorite. In fact,my husband said it is the best ice he has ever eaten and he has eaten a lot of ice cream.:-) I hope you all enjoy it as much as we have. Enjoy!

Ingredients For cappuccino ice cream

  • 2 c
    heavy cream, cold
  • 1 can
    eagle brand condensed milk
  • 1/4 c
    expresso

How To Make cappuccino ice cream

    Refrigerate all ingredients. I make the recipe for 2 tasses of expresso and chill. You can use instant coffee with 1/4 cup of hot water to dissolve.

    Whip the heavy cream until soft mounds, start adding the Eagle Brand milk slowly while whipping it together with the heavy cream. Add the expresso and continue whipping.

    At this point you can either use an ice cream maker or pour into dish and just freeze. Freeze about 4 hours if just in freezer. I use the kitchenaid attachment for ice cream and then whip it for 15 minutes and then into a 5 cup dish and freezer. It will be like soft serve ice cream at this point. Enjoy!!!
