Ingredients For berry sherbert

  • 3 c
    washed and drained blackberries or berry of your choice
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar, more or less depending on tartness of the berry
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    half and half

How To Make berry sherbert

  • 1
    In a blender whirl berries, sugar, lemon juice, salt until smooth. Press through a strainer to remove seeds. You can taste now to see if it needs more sugar. Stir in half and half. Cover and chill until cold. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to freezer directions.
