  • 1 bag
    (1 lb.) frozen dark sweet cherries
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter, cubed
  • 1/4 c
    toasted walnuts, chopped

How To Make walnut cherry crisp

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla together. Divide mixture between eight 4 ounce ramekins

    Blend together flour, cinnamon, oats, sugar, salt, and butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add walnuts and sprinkle mixture over fruit.

    Bake 30-35 minutes until topping is golden and fruit is bubbly around edges.
