How simple can this be...The first time we went to Tucanos and I had the Grilled Pineapple it was so Yummy I had to find the recipe and finally found it on line...It is like eating pineapple and cotton candy at the same time...It is sooo good I can eat it year round....I hope you enjoy this as much as we do...I don't have picture on this yet so I have a free stock picture that is as close as I could get till I have one to add in..

Ingredients For tucanos grilled pineapple

  • ONE HALF PINEAPPLE, CUT INTO LONG SPEARS
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • LEMON JUICE

How To Make tucanos grilled pineapple

    Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a shallow bowl. Heat up the grill to medium heat. Before putting the pineapple down on grill, roll the spears in brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. This will bring out the sweetness and instant caramelizing when they hit the grill.

    Heat the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon mixture in a pan, till hot and bubbly, brown sugar should be melted.

    Grill the pineapple spears over direct heat about 2-3 minutes per side, turn occasionally. Each time it turns, baste with glaze. When finished, place on platter and drizzle with remaining mixture of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon..or you may dip it in while eating them...
