2 Tbspcold unsalted butter, cut in small pieces

2 Tbspdark brown sugar

2 Tbspall-purpose flour

1/4 tspground allspice

1 pinchsalt
How To Make texas red grapefruit brulée

1Put rack in upper third of oven; preheat broiler to high.

2Cut each grapefruit in half and loosen each segment.

3Drizzle 2 teaspoons of rum over each half.

4In small bowl, combine butter, sugar, flour, allspice and salt. Pinch ingredients together into soft crumbs. Sprinkle crumbs over grapefruit halves.

5Place grapefruit halves on a broiler pan and broil until crumbs are lightly browned - about 5-7 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve.
