I love to make this crisp when fresh peaches are in season. It is especially delicious served warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.

5-6 cfresh peaches, peeled & thinly sliced

1/2 call-purpose flour

2/3 cgranulated sugar

1/4 tspkosher salt

1/2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1 Tbspfresh lemon juice
- STREUSEL TOPPING

2/3 cdark brown sugar
-
2/3 call-purpose flour

2/3 cold-fashioned oats
-
1 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspkosher salt
-
2/3 cchopped pecans
-
6 Tbspunsalted butter, softened
How To Make streusel topped fresh peach crisp

1Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease a 7"x11" baking dish. Set aside.

2Filling: In a large bowl, combine the peaches with the flour, granulated sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Gently toss until combined. Spoon into the prepared baking dish.

3Topping: In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, salt, and pecans. Add the softened butter and stir with a fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the top of the peaches in the baking dish.

4Bake for 45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and peach mixture is bubbly. Remove from the oven and cool slightly on a wire cooling rack.

5Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
