Excellent use for those berries that are just starting to become overripe.

Ingredients For strawberry crumble

  • FILLING
  • 2 c
    strawberries, quatered
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    corn starch
  • TOPPING
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cold
  • *ALSO GOOD WITH CHERRIES.

How To Make strawberry crumble

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Filling: Combine strawberries, sugar and cornstarch.
  • 3
    Divide between two ramekins.
  • 4
    Topping: Combine ingredients and blend until coarse crumbs form.
  • 5
    Spoon topping over filling.
  • 6
    Place on cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes until bubbling.

    Let cool for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
