Ingredients For slow-cooked apple-pecan crisp

  • 5 lg
    grannysmith apples peeled, cored, cut into 1/"-thick slices
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 3/4 c
    chopped, toasted pecans
  • favorite ice cream

How To Make slow-cooked apple-pecan crisp

  • 1
    Spray a 5-6 quart slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place apples in cooker and drizzle w/ lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly.

    In bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. W/ 2 forks, mix in butter cubes to blend. Sprinkle mix over apples.

    Cover, cook on high for about 3 hrs or until apples are tender. sprinkle w/ pecans and serve w/ ice cream.
