This makes an ambrosia that is a favorite at family gatherings. It has to sit at least overnight and the last ingredients are added 2 hours before serving, hence the long cooking time.

1 lborzo pasta

2 canchunky pineapple

2 canmandarin oranges

2eggs

3/4 csugar

1 Tbspall purpose flour

10 ozjar maraschino cherries, drained

8 ozfrozen whipped topping, thawed
How To Make rosamarina salad

1Cook the pasta according to box directions. Drain, rinse with cool water and drain well.

2Drain pineapple and oranges, reserving juice. Refrigerate drained fruit.

3Combine fruit juices, eggs, sugar and flour in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

4Add sauce to cooled orzo, mix well. Refrigerate orzo 8-10 hours or overnight.

5Two hours before serving mix in the reserved fruit, cherries and whipped topping. Refrigerate until serving time.
