It's Rhubarb season, Do you love Rhubarb pie? If so then you will like this new twist on Rhubarb Crisp. I never had a recipe for this, I just made it from scratch and loved it so much that I make it this way now whenever I make it. Try it, I think you will like it.

Ingredients For surprise rhubarb crisp

2/3 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cmaypo or maple flavored oatmeal

3 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/4 cbutter
-
1/4 ccrunchy peanut butter
-
6 lgstalks of rhubarb cut into cubes

3-4 Tbspfirmly packed brown sugar

1/2 tspcinnamon
How To Make surprise rhubarb crisp

1Preheat oven to 425 F .In a sprayed or greased 9 x 13 pan, add cubed rhubarb, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until mixed through.

2For the topping , place the flour, oats, sugar, butter and peanut butter in a large bowl, mix well, crumble on top of rhubarb

3Bake until the rhubarb has softened and the crumble is lightly golden. 25-30 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
