Ingredients For quick apple dumplings

2medium granny smith apples

1 pkgrefrigerated crescent rolls (8 count)

1 csugar

1 tspvanilla extract

1/8 tspground cinnamon

1/2 cbutter
-
1 corange or apple juice (i use apple juice)

1/2 cfinely chopped pecans
How To Make quick apple dumplings

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Peel and core the apples. Cut each apple into fourths.

2Unroll and separate the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Wrap each apple section in a triangle of crescent dough. Place in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon.

3Combine butter, sugar, and orange OR apple juice in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour this all over the dumplings. Sprinkle pecans over the top.

4Bake for 30 minutes. To serve, spoon some of the syrup from the baking dish over the dumplings. Serve with ice cream if desired.
