peach cobler
Our small group shares a themed potluck dinner every week. When the theme was Southern comfort food I opted to make dessert. I chose peach cobbler and looked for a recipe. After reading several comments that it was too sweet I simply cut down the sugar and I think it’s perfect. Try it and decide for yourselves

Ingredients For peach cobler

1/2 cunsalted butter

4 cfresh peaches (peeled and sliced)

1 cflour

1 csugar

1 cmilk
-
1 pinchsalt

1 Tbspbaking powder

cinnamon

1 Tbsplemon juice
How To Make peach cobler

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees In a 9x13 inch pan melt butter in oven while it preheats

2Cut and slice peaches to make four cups and place in saucepan.

3In a small mixing bowl combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, and baking powder

4Stir milk into dry ingredients just until combined

5In saucepan with peaches, add 1/2 cup sugar and lemon juice

6Bring peach mixture to a boil

7Pour flour mixture over butter. Do not stir

8Pour peaches over flour mixture. Do not stir

9Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired

10Bake for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or cool with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
